Earth conscious Disc golfers are needed to represent the Ventura Disc Golf Club at Ojai Earth Day celebration. Representatives are needed to fill slots from 11am to 4pm to inform people about the health, ecological and fun aspects of disc golf. The 2008 Bakersfield Central Valley Series Tournament on Saturday March 1, 2008 The CVS is returning to Bakersfield and is gearing up to be one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year. Two 20 hole rounds on the devilish & exciting Hart Park Course. With holes ranging from 200’ to 500’ and elevation changes of over 100’ Hart Park is always one of the most enjoyable and challenging Central Valley Series Events.
Pre-registration is required as the field will be limited so get your entry form in quick!
Course opens at 7:30 Players Meeting at 8:30 1st round begins 9:00 Awards to follow second round.

That’s right. The long sought after ace falls to a visiting player who had never played our course before. The pin location was in the original spot, (b). He was here December 23 playing with his family on a beautiful day with little wind in play. I happened to be teeing off on hole 13 when we heard people yelling, “go” from the top of the hill. Chad to mess with me jokingly said , ” Oh he just aced 16 “. Then someone in our group looked over and saw something in the basket. We all raced over to congradulate the man. We never heard the chains. He threw a beat up DX Teebird. We don’t know where he hails from but if you ever meet this guy give him the credit he so deserves. Great shot!
